
SoCal NOMAS Lecture #1: Drake Dillard
Otis College of Design presents Drake Dillard
Drake Dillard AIA, NOMAC, LEED, as a Senior Project Manager of Perkins+Will, Los Angeles, oversees a wide range of commissions throughout the world, including education, civic, mixed-use, healthcare, and culture. Drake designs architecture that celebrates the modern public realm through his committed focus on the fundamental issues of community, context, and culture. Drake studied at the University of Illinois and Howard University and has served as a member of the AIALA Board of Directors and as the National and SoCal NOMA President.
SoCal NOMAS 2021 Spring Lecture Series
As a collective effort of raising the voices of Black Indigenous People of Color, @socalnoma student chapters have prepared a series of lectures across the 9 participating schools of architecture that highlights and celebrates the work and achievements of designers of color. We invite respected guests and NOMAS members across SoCal to these talks. Together we hope to inspire and empower, to continue to be voices of the future of architecture. Otis College NOMAS presents the first lecture in the series on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at 7 pm PST.
